M.Ed. in Teacher of Visual Art (5-12) 33 credits

This program of study is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for Professional License in Teacher of Visual Art (5-12) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This program is designed for students who already hold an Initial teacher license and wish to enhance their existing pedagogical knowledge with an emphasis on added studio art expertise.

Program Prerequisite: Possession of an Initial license in Art Education (5-12) or a Professional license in another field
