The Office of Commuter Student Services aims to enhance the quality of the Lesley experience for commuter students by providing programming, resources, advocacy and support for commuting students that allows them to feel more engaged with life on campus, and successful in their academic pursuits.

Commuter Programs and Events
What better way to get to know other commuters than to attend commuter events? These events can help build a community of commuters at Lesley (there may even be free food and giveaways!) Whether it’s Bingo, DIY crafting, commuter lunch, or Cookies for Commuters, attending commuter programs is a great way to get connected on campus.

Transportation Assistance

Save 11% on your MBTA commute by pre-ordering a semester MBTA pass. Passes are sold at the end of each semester for the following semester. Visit http://lesley.edu/passes to learn more. Need help figuring out the best way to get to campus? Stop by Commuter Student Services for advice on tools and apps that can help you maximize your commute.

Commuter Friendly Spaces
Many spaces on campus are designated as commuter friendly – meaning they have things that commuter students are looking for including fridges, microwaves, comfortable seating and lockers. Explore places on campus such as Information Commons (2nd Floor, Doble Hall), the Reading Room (University Hall 3rd Floor) the Library Lounge (Sherrill Library 041) or the lounge at 13 Mellen (Doble Campus) for some commuter friendly spaces.

Commuter Food Pantry
Lesley has an on-campus food pantry, staffed by commuter students, that supplies food to commuters in need. Whether you left your lunch on the bus, forgot your wallet at home, or are financially challenged and in need of a healthy meal, stop by the food pantry and get something to eat at no charge. There’s also small supply of specialty items for our students who are vegan or are gluten or dairy free. The food pantry is located at the rear of Stebbins Hall on the Doble Campus. Work-study and volunteer opportunities are available in the pantry as well.

Commuter Club
You want to meet new people and do fun things, but you have a really busy schedule. Your fellow Lesley commuters totally get it. Join the Commuter Club to connect with our community on your schedule. For details, contact mailto:commuters@lesley.edu. Find even more ways to get involved by exploring our over 50 student organizations at https://lesley.edu/students/organizations-activities/student-organizations.

Commuter Dining
Sign up for a commuter meal plan and you’ll be able to use your Lesley ID to grab meals at any of our dining halls, including White Hall (Doble), Washburn Hall (Brattle), and the Porter Café (Porter). At just $5 per meal, and plans ranging from 1 meal to 50 meals, you’ll definitely be able to find a plan that works for you. Peruse your options at https://lesley.edu/students/campus-services/dining. Not interested in a dining plan? All campus eateries take cash, CashLynx and credit cards.

Sports and Recreation Equipment

When it’s a beautiful day and you want to hang out on the Quad, come to Commuter Student Services to borrow some sports equipment. Basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, beach blankets, Frisbees and corn hole are all available for student use.

Commuter Lockers
Need a place to stash your stuff on campus? Lockers are available on all three campuses and are $10 to rent for the year. Lockers are great to keep items that you might need on campus (like an umbrella, snacks, or a change of clothes) or just a place to drop off your books between classes. Visit each campus' Public Safety desk to inquire about available lockers and to rent your locker.
