International Student Services (ISS) provides advice on immigration, and cross cultural matters to all international students at Lesley.  ISS advises students about F-1 visa status, travel, and benefits.  We also sponsor programs designed to build connections amongst international students, and between international and domestic students.

Maintaining F-1 Status

Remember these main points of maintaining F-1 status:

• Check in with ISS
  • When you first arrive at Lesley, please bring your immigration documents to ISS
• Register full-time
  • That’s 12 units for undergraduates or 9 units for graduate students
• Keep ISS up-to-date
  • We need to have your current address, email address, and phone number on file
• Don’t work without prior authorization
  • Come to a monthly F-1 workshop, check out our website, or meet with us to learn about getting authorized for employment or internships.
