IANIM 2650 Technical Drawing
This is an introductory course in Technical Drawing, a drawing discipline that enables the visual communication of how something functions and is constructed in dimensional space. The drawing process is facilitated by using computer aided drafting (CAD) software. This software enables the creation of drawings of three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface in architectural, industrial, and 3d modeling applications. Students will learn the basics of CAD, principles of outputting drawings for CNC, and the production of 3D objects on fabrication equipment.
