CLITR 2330 World Mythology

This course provides an introduction to Middle Eastern, Greco-Roman, European, Asian, African, and North and Central American mythology. This course will compare and contrast the various myths and identify common features. Materials are organized according to themes and types, and include myths of creation, apocalypse, afterlife, floods, heroes and heroines, and archetypes. Prerequisite: CLITR 1100.
