GMIND 6063 Teaching Mindfulness: Practical Skills
This course provides a means for developing early competency in the range of skills needed to offer mindfulness training to others. Students apply knowledge from their ongoing studies to construct a cohesive mindfulness offering, inviting participation, presenting information, guiding mindfulness practices, managing a group practice period and responding to related questions. We also examine trauma, context and population sensitive practical and ethical choices of teaching mindfulness. This course requires on-camera participation and video recordings.
