EEDUC 6101 Vocabulary and Comprehension Across the Curriculum
This course examines the latest research on reading comprehension and vocabulary and investigates how multimodal and disciplinary literacies deepen student learning and knowledge-building across the curriculum. Students evaluate the text complexity of print and multimodal texts across genres, consider the relationship between student agency and reading comprehension, design text sets, and translate reading research into practice.
