Individual Professional Development Accounts

1. The University will allocate $875 in fiscal year 2018 to each full-time core and management faculty member for the purpose of professional development and scholarship, including, but not limited to travel and attending conferences.  Funds unused at the end of fiscal year 2018 (6/30/18) will carry forward to an actively employed faculty member's account to fiscal year 2019.  In fiscal year 2019 (7/1/18), the University will allocate $1,000 to each full-time core and management faculty member for these purposes. Part-time faculty members will receive pro-rata amounts.
2. Faculty members may accrue such funds for up to two (2) years for the purposes of professional development and scholarship (7/1/17-6/30/19). Funds unspent by June 30, 2019 will return to the University’s general institutional account. The Provost’s office will manage the individual accounts and will establish criteria and a reimbursement protocol for use of these funds.
