IGAME 2702 Digital Music Production
This course explores the world of MIDI, mixing music using virtual-instruments, signal processing, the basics of synthesis, and the fundamentals of interactive music. Through demos and creative projects, students will learn essential steps and components of mixing in a DAW (digital audio workstation), interfacing MIDI controllers with software, creating sounds through synthesized means, basic rhythmic and tonal music theory, and adaptive music concepts.
