CEDUC 3705 Middle and Secondary Education: Field Exp. 3
This course explores middle and high school education, focusing on adolescent development, educational structures, collaborative and interdisciplinary curricular design, and equitable assessment and instruction. Emphasis is placed on Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, differentiation, unit preparation, curriculum literacy, working with community and schoolwide stakeholders, and technological integration within the classroom to meet diverse learner needs. Students engage in a weekly pre-practicum experience and critical reflection, actively working with teachers and students to apply course concepts.
