EARED 7102 Arts Based Research for Teachers of Visual Arts
The arts contribute directly to possibilities for teaching and learning because they offer us and our students’ multiple modes of expression and communication. In the study of arts-based research methods we learn that there are many ways to construct knowledge. Through exploring the visual arts classroom in learning and research, we develop an appreciation of the unique qualities that each of us, and our students, contribute to democratic learning communities.
