CAPPL 3017 Doing Social Action for Change
The United States is at a crossroads, as democracy itself is under attack. Higher education needs to mainstream “social action” in order to do its part in creating the next generation of democratic citizens and residents. CPOLS 3017, Doing Social Action—explores our power and democracy. More specifically, this is an interdisciplinary course that examines the topics of issue development, change theory, building power, group dynamics, strategy and tactics, and campaign planning and implementation.
