CAPPL 3100 Business, Sustainability and the Environment
Business, Sustainability & the Environment serves as an Applications course for the Lesley General Education program. As such, Business, Sustainability & the Environment is an integrative, interdisciplinary, upper-level course in which students synthesize and reflect on their learning, and apply knowledge and skills across disciplinary boundaries to address complex problems with practical relevance. It is the culminating course within our core. Through Business, Sustainability & the Environment, students will apply the following general education outcomes to examine domestic and global industrial performance and its effects on humanity and the environment. The course examines the rationales, advantages, and risks that determine the decisions of companies to adopt environmental management standards.
